SBA will be on Spring Break from Monday, March 18th, to Thursday, March 21st. Classes will resume on Monday, March 25th.
4th quarter begins. Reports cards will be sent home at the end of school.
3rd Quarter ends on Thursday, March 7th. Report cards will be sent home on Monday, March 11th.
Students will be heading to Ft. Collins to participate in the Colorado Association of Christian Schools Fine Arts Competition. Students will be competing in music, speech, spelling, art, and science competitions. The bus will leave at 6:30 AM and will return approximately 6:30 PM.
SBA will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving. Have a safe and happy holiday as we give thanks to God for all of the blessings He has given to us.
Mid-quarter reports go home at the end of school.
We will be going to Sky Zone on Thursday, October 26, to host a party for the top school fundraisers for the walkathon.
SBA is hosting a student revival with Evangelist Caleb Garraway. This is for students 5th-11th grade and will be conducted during their Bible class time. Evangelist Garraway is a youth speaker that travels the nation addressing topics of spiritual importance for teens and young adults. He and his wife also produce music and video content for Christian ministries.
In observance of Labor Day, SBA will be closed. Classes and offices will reopen on Tuesday, September 5th.
We’re excited for the school year to begin. Parents are welcome to come into the school to begin the day with their students. Please park on the south parking lot if you are intending to participate in opening ceremonies.
Open house will begin at 6:00 PM. Please enter through the northwest entrance near the playground.
Thanksgiving Break is November 23rd and 24th. School will resume on Monday, November 28th.
Our Thanksgiving Food Drive is here. Each class is raising food to donate to local food banks. You can help out by dropping of non-perishable boxed and canned goods at the school office.
2nd Quarter begins today. 1st quarter report cards will be going home. Please make sure you have scheduled a conference with your child’s teacher to discuss their academic progress.
Today is the end of 1st Quarter. Reports will be finalized and sent home on Monday, October 17th. Please schedule a conference with your child’s teacher to discuss your child’s grades and progress.
Walk-A-Thon is in full swing right now. We are gathering pledges to support our students as they walk along the Monument Valley Trail next week. The walk will happen on Thursday, September 22, and will go from Goose Gossage Sports Complex to the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center area. Parents are welcome to join us on the walk.

Today is Picture Day! Please make sure your child is ready for pictures by following the instructions sent home in the weekly memo.

Due to a pastors’ conference at Grace Baptist Church, Springs Baptist Academy will begin at 9:00 AM each morning this week to minimize logistical issues. School will dismiss at regular time each day. Please watch for any further instructions that will be sent throughout the day.
Welcome back to SBA for another school year! We’re looking forward to having the best year ever and we’re excited to see all of our students again.

Our annual student achievement testing will be conducted from March 7th-March 10th. All students in grades 1-11 will be testing, so please make sure your student is present for testing. If you have not done so already, please pay your testing fee to the school office as soon as possible.
We will be having our 3rd Quarter student contact day on Friday, February 25th. School will be operating as normal. Please have your students at school by 8:00 AM. The school kitchen will be closed, so please make sure your student does not bring any warm ups for that day.
