1st Quarter mid-quarter reports go home on Thursday, September 11th. This is also Picture Day, so please make sure your students are present for school photos.
We’re hosting a Music Instrument Test Drive in conjunction with Graner Music and Colorado Homeschool Music on Monday, September 8th, at 3 PM. A parent information meeting will follow at 4 PM. If you’ve ever wanted your child to learn an instrument, this is your chance. Colorado Homeschool Music, a nonprofit music program, is offering weekly band and orchestra instrument instruction to our students in 3rd-12th grade for the phenomenal price of $45 per student per month. We encourage everyone who is eligible to participate.
In observance of Labor Day, SBA will be closed on Monday, September 1st. We want to thank everyone who works hard and takes care of business across our school community. Take a day for yourself, you earned it.
The first day of the 2025/2026 school year is here. Parents, drop off begins at 7:30 AM in the north parking lot. You are welcome to stay for opening ceremonies, so get your camera ready.

Secondary students participating in the American Government & History Intensive will be heading to Washington DC on Monday, April 7th.
We will be completing annual testing the week of March 31st. Please make sure your student is present to complete testing.
Enrollment for the 2025/2026 school year will be open to all current families on Monday, March 31st.
4th Quarter begins on Monday, March 24th. 3rd Quarter report cards will be going home at the end of school.
The girls’ volleyball team will be traveling to Brighton, Colorado, to play Elmwood Baptist Academy on Monday, September 9th. The game will begin at 5 PM. The bus will leave at 2 PM. Both the boys’ and the girls’ teams will travel together by bus.
The 4th-8th Boys’ Soccer Team will be traveling to Brighton, Colorado, to play against Elmwood Baptist Academy on Monday, September 9th. The bus will leave at 2 PM and will return approximately 9:30 PM. Both the boys’ and the girls’ teams will be traveling together.
School will be closed in observance of Labor Day. We’ll see everyone on Tuesday, September 3rd.
SBA will be on Spring Break from Monday, March 18th, to Thursday, March 21st. Classes will resume on Monday, March 25th.

Students will be heading to Ft. Collins to participate in the Colorado Association of Christian Schools Fine Arts Competition. Students will be competing in music, speech, spelling, art, and science competitions. The bus will leave at 6:30 AM and will return approximately 6:30 PM.
SBA will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving. Have a safe and happy holiday as we give thanks to God for all of the blessings He has given to us.

We will be going to Sky Zone on Thursday, October 26, to host a party for the top school fundraisers for the walkathon.
SBA is hosting a student revival with Evangelist Caleb Garraway. This is for students 5th-11th grade and will be conducted during their Bible class time. Evangelist Garraway is a youth speaker that travels the nation addressing topics of spiritual importance for teens and young adults. He and his wife also produce music and video content for Christian ministries.
In observance of Labor Day, SBA will be closed. Classes and offices will reopen on Tuesday, September 5th.
We’re excited for the school year to begin. Parents are welcome to come into the school to begin the day with their students. Please park on the south parking lot if you are intending to participate in opening ceremonies.

Thanksgiving Break is November 23rd and 24th. School will resume on Monday, November 28th.
Our Thanksgiving Food Drive is here. Each class is raising food to donate to local food banks. You can help out by dropping of non-perishable boxed and canned goods at the school office.
2nd Quarter begins today. 1st quarter report cards will be going home. Please make sure you have scheduled a conference with your child’s teacher to discuss their academic progress.
Today is the end of 1st Quarter. Reports will be finalized and sent home on Monday, October 17th. Please schedule a conference with your child’s teacher to discuss your child’s grades and progress.
